Dr. Shivam Khare
Dr. Shivam Khare is working as a Consultant Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist, and Therapeutic Endoscopist at the Institute of Liver Gastroenterology Pancre- atico-Biliary sciences (ILGPS) at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi.
He completed his Graduation (MBBS) and Post Graduation (MD in Medicine) from the renowned Gajra Raja Medical College, Gwalior (MP) in the years 2011 and 2015, respectively. In 2015, he served as a Senior Resident in the Department of Medicine, at Gajra Raja Medical College, Gwalior.
In 2016, he was selected for the coveted Super Specialization course (Gastroenterology and Hepatology) at the premier institute of India, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. After the successful completion of his super specialization, he did his fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and he was trained meticulously in Therapeutic Endoscopic Ultrasound, ERCP, and Third space Endoscopy (POEM, EMR, ESD, STER, ARMA). He also did research work in the Liver and Endoscopy field, published articles in National and International Journals, and presented his work at various National and International conferences.
Dr. Shivam Khare has 12 years of experience in clinical practice and 7 years of experience in Gastroenterology, hepatology, and therapeutic endoscopy practice He recently performed a challenging endoscopic procedure per oral endoscopic myotomy (POEM) on the youngest patient in India.
